Seed Starting with Gretel Anspach (Adults) Mtg Rm

Monday, February 37:00—8:00 PMMeeting RoomMelrose Public Library @ the Beebe263 W. Foster Street, Melrose, MA, 02176

The Melrose Seed Library will reopen this coming spring!  Get a jump on the season by starting your plants from seeds!  Doing so is cheaper than buying transplants and offers a much broader variety of plants.  Whether you are interested in herbs, vegetables, or even annuals and perennials, this lecture will give you the information you need from starting a seed to planting in the ground.

Gretel Anspach is an Overseer of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, a Lifetime Master Gardener with the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association, and a recently-retired systems engineer for Raytheon.  She has volunteered sporadically for the New England Wildflower Society as an adult’s and children’s guide. She considers her horticultural interests to be eclectic.  Gretel helped to establish and maintain two food production gardens that have provided fresh produce to the Marlboro Food Pantry for the last ten years.

This program is generously supported by The Friends of the Melrose Public Library.
