Join us for our Tails & Tales Summer Reading Program and explore Bizarre Birds of the World with Steve Hale.  With over 10,000 bird species in the world, there are some extreme examples that stretch our understanding of what it means to be a bird.  This entertaining and educational program features extreme examples of birds and bird biology!

Dr. Steve Hale holds university degrees in marine biology, evolutionary biology, and ecology.  Residing in New Hampshire, an avid hiker, birder, and experienced naturalist, Steve loves to share his experience and knowledge with others; he is the owner and main guide of Open World Explorers.
