August Topic - The Olympics: The Games, the History, the People

Everyone is welcome, whether they read a book and want to share or they just want to listen and learn!

The August topic will be The Olympics: The Games, the History, the People and the discussion will take place on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 7:00PM via Zoom.   Participants should read a non-fiction book of their choosing related to an aspect of The Olympics: The Games, the History, the People.  Perhaps you have a favorite Olympian or Olympic moment and want to dive deeper into that aspect.  The timeline of the Olympics runs a large range so have fun with what aspect you choose!  Join in at the meeting to share your findings with the group or, if curious to see what a meeting is like, just come and listen.

Need help finding a book?  Checkout a sampling of Melrose-owned books available through the library.  When in doubt, please contact the library (melref@noblenet.org or 781-665-2313).  The library is open to patrons, no appointments needed so come roam the stacks!  Alternatively, the library also offers e-books and e-audiobooks through Overdrive/Libby and Hoopla.
